Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Reseller Camera Pro handles information in two places: the Reseller Camera Pro app (also called RSCam) for Android and iPhone, and the waitlist on this website. The short version: the app keeps your photos and settings on your phone, and we don't collect personal information through it.
The Reseller Camera Pro app
Information we collect
None. The app doesn't require an account, doesn't ask for your name or email, and doesn't send your photos or personal information to us or anyone else. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
Camera
The app asks for camera permission so you can take photos. The camera is used only while the app is open on screen. The live view is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere; only the photos you choose to take are saved.
Your photos
Photos are saved only on your phone: in an RSCam folder of your gallery on Android, or in an RSCam album in the Photos app on iPhone. On iPhone, the app asks for permission to add photos to your library and create its album. Your photos stay on your device and are never uploaded by the app. You can view, share or delete them at any time with your phone's gallery or Photos app.
Information stored on your phone
To work properly, the app saves some information in its own private storage on your phone:
- Your settings, such as grid, level, shutter sound and vibration
- Item numbers, your item count and your progress through each shot checklist
- How many free items you've used this month
- Whether you've unlocked Pro
This information never leaves your phone and isn't sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it. Photos you've already taken stay in your gallery until you delete them.
Motion sensors
The level indicator reads your phone's motion sensors to show whether the phone is straight. These readings are used on your phone only and are never stored or sent anywhere.
Pro purchases
The optional Pro upgrade is sold through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. Google or Apple handles the payment, and we never see or receive your payment details. The app only checks with Google Play or the App Store, on your phone, whether your account has bought Pro, so it can unlock Pro features and restore them if you reinstall. Purchases are covered by Google's privacy policy or Apple's privacy policy.
Sharing and selling
We don't sell, rent or share information from the app, because the app doesn't send us any.
Children
The app is a tool for resellers and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
This website and the waitlist
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, the date and time you joined, and which signup form on the page you used. Nothing else.
Why we collect it
To email you when Reseller Camera Pro launches. We won't use your email for anything else, and we never sell or share it.
Where it's stored
Your email is stored on our website host's servers in a private file that isn't publicly accessible. If we use an email service to send the launch announcement, your email will be shared with that service only to send it.
How long we keep it
Until Reseller Camera Pro launches and we've sent the announcement, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, how they find the site, and how many join the waitlist. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It does not receive your email address. This information is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy; you can learn how Google uses it at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Analytics is used only on this website, not in the app.
Leaving the list
Email twodashstash@gmail.com and we'll delete your email address. Every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.

Changes to this policy
If we change how the app or waitlist handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
